We had the occasion to devour some of the special Croatian Chicken the Fair is famous for. You should see the way they cook this stuff!
This year's entertainment is Joe Nichols and Rodney Atkins.. both country music and both with current hits songs. Then there will be SALIVA
with Drowning Pool & Blackstone Cherry..
Don't miss the Tuff Truck Spectacular 2007 tomorrow, Tuesday, or the ATV Rally Challenge on Wednesday and demolition derby on Saturday. There is Indoor golf, Skerbeck Bros Carnival, Great Lakes Timber Show, Battle of the Bands, Miniature Horse Show, goat show, dog Show and Bingo, to name a few.

The UP fair is one of the things I am missing. we used to go every year. When I was a kid I entered my chickens and pigeons. Later I entered some latch hook hangings. I love that fair.
I WISH I WERE GOING TO THE U.P. STATE FAIR ! Oh ... some year ... when growing up, we had a farm near Escanaba. I was so active in all kinds of 4-H projects. That's how I earned the money for my school clothes & books.
