Have you stopped at the UP Made Artist Market? I picked up a brouchure in Covington but I haven't stopped at the Market yet. It sounds like a great place.
It's in Covington in the Historic Covington School, just off M-28, near Spring Street and School Rd. It's open from May 1st to September 30th.
This feature works from over 50 artists, crafters, and authors. You'll find such things as stained glass, jewelry, paintings, soaps, candles, jams, maple syrup, antiques, basketry, sculpture, and woodwork.
It sounds like it would be worth stopping.
