Fire in Hancock

A fire in downtown Hancock on Saturday morning took the lives of four people. The names of those who died in the fire have not been released but the police do suspect arsen.

The building is located on 116 Quincy Street contained nine apartments. The fire started in the rear of the building on the second or third floor. The interior of the building was extensively damage.

The building also housed Directions Unlimited Inc., a drop-in center for outpatient mental health and substance abuse, as well as at least two floors of apartments.
